In the implementation of the afore-mentioned programmes, the KREATE Lab aims to achieve the following impact:
- A thriving and globally competitive industrial sector, in particular the electronics and ICT, in eThekwini Municipality Area which is ready to ride the fourth wave of industrial revolution.
- A knowledgeable and skilled workforce equipped to leverage opportunities in the 4IR.
- A smart city with smart communities that are well-informed (abreast of) the developments in the 4IR in the radio astronomy era.
- A technology-driven and new industry linked to the digital industrial eevolution in eThekwini Municipality.
